Scope and support
These are modeled, landscape-scale estimates for comparing relative wildfire risk among communities. They are not a rating of any individual home or property and not an insurance, building-code, land-use or evacuation determination. They contain no current fire or weather information: current fires are reported by the National Interagency Fire Center and local officials, evacuation orders come from local emergency management, and emergencies are reported to 911. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by the USDA Forest Service or any government agency.
